🛠️ Fitment Verification & Installation Notice
1. VIN Verification Required:
Vehicle compatibility lists are for general reference only. To ensure 100% accurate fitment, please send us your 17-digit VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) before purchasing. Our team will verify it directly through the official Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC).
2. Professional Installation Highly Recommended:
Clock springs are highly sensitive electrical components linked directly to your vehicle's safety system.
- Center Alignment: The clock spring must be perfectly centered before the steering wheel is reattached. Turning the steering wheel while the clock spring is uncentered will snap the internal ribbon cable immediately.
- Sensor Calibration: When transferring your original Steering Angle Sensor to this new part, absolute precision is required. Improper alignment or failure to clear historical trouble codes using an advanced OBD2 scanner can trigger VSA (Traction Control) or SRS (Airbag) dashboard warning lights after a short period of driving.
- Recommendation: We strongly advise having this part installed by a certified ASE mechanic to ensure proper calibration and eliminate potential system fault codes.
