An exception example of late 1940s or 50s Brooks Brothers formal shirting, in a size
15-2. This is a formal tuxedo shirt done in white cotton, with a textural woven chest portion, meant to be worn with a fully separate collar, akin to pre-1920s styling. The shirt has 3 permanent buttons in total, 2 at the wrists, and one in the center of the chest. The shirt came with 3 (relatively) modern pin-back studs for the chest, but is meant to be worn with 4 studs, and cuff links. The pin-back studs are included. Despite the tag not mentioning the fact, the shirt was made in the USA. The neck tag design positively dates the shirt at pre-1960s, as well as the presence of gussets at the side seams - a real Brooks Brothers relic. This particular
shirt is labeled as a '15-2' or a 15-32, which should be relatively accurate
and is about equivalent to a size medium. Please refer to the below
measurements before purchasing.
