Artifact : very beautiful Upper Paleolithic end scraper / knife in rare banded flint. Marks of use and retouches on the active parts. This kind of tool was mainly used for leather / skin and fur work. Very nice collector!
According to the typology, the weathering of the material and the context of find, this piece dates back to the Aurignacians (most probable) or to the Gravettians, first Sapiens cultures in south-west of France.
