Description

The Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad (BML) ran from Burnham Junction, Maine on the MEC to the small seaport of Belfast, Maine. The railroad began operations in 1870; as traffic declined, it was converted into a tourist railroad and ran trains until 2008 when operations were terminated. Plans are developing to restore part of the line for tourist travel.

For auction is a LOT of 3 passenger train tickets for travel on the BML, circa 1930s..

Each ticket measures appx 2 1/4 x 1 2/4 inches and is printed on thick cardstock. All are in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, writing, markings or folds.
