DESCRIPTION
Here we have a very special and very limited edition piece of F1 memorabilia. These necklaces have been made from a 1997 Jordan 197 right rear carbon fibre RWEP leading edge extension and finished with the iconic Jordan Bitten and Hisses snake design that adorned this car's nosecone during the 1997 season, this has to be one of the very beat nose designs in Formula 1 history and has been something I have wanted to for years, now I have finally found a suitable 197 donor part, I'm thrilled to have finally made them. This will be the first and only run of these necklaces.

The pendants have been hand cut from the RWEP, leading edge of one of Talf Schumacher's & Giancarlo Fisichella's 1997 Jordans,  the cut shows the honeycomb construction of an F1 car's carbon fibre beautifully and I've then finished the pendant with the famous snake design in layered vinyl, sealed with lacquer and then fitted to a 925 SP 45 to 50cm chain.

These will come with an artiF1ed COA art card and Bitten & Hisses, black square gift box.

Each pendant will slightly differ in shape, as my MS riddled hands aren't able to die cut identical pieces, as a machine would, but they are all 99.9% mainly the same.

WHY I DO THIS
Having witnessed the waste produced by Formula One over the past 20 years I decided
that I could make a difference and at the same time give fans of the sport a unique
opportunity to own the ultimate in F1 memorabilia. There are stories about fields in
southern England having shipping containers packed full of F1®  cars and parts being buried, certainly this was true of teams up the early 2000's. More recently many teams archive parts, but these archives have to be emptied, many items are destroyed (see the secretly filmed video of what one of the largest teams in F1®  do when clearing out their archives) and due to their inability to be recycled, are put into landfill, something which will only have a huge detrimental effect to our environment in the future. Below I have embedded video of what McLaren do with their parts they no longer have a use for, pretty saddening and shocking that so much material like this ends up in landfill.

ABOUT ME
I had always wanted to do something about the waste our sport creates, when about 15 years ago the idea of selling obsolete, damaged, scrapped car parts came to mind. I didn't want to just sell on the parts on as is, I wanted to give my fellow fans the chance of owning the best memorabilia I could possibly offer and with my arts background I found that these F1®  car parts really leant themselves to being redesigned and re-purposed into something new, something beautiful, something cool.
Over the years however I have had to call a halt to this process due the ongoing battle I'm having with Multiple Sclerosis and the inability to physically be able to put these gifts together. Right now I am having periods of good health which enable me to get back to doing what I absolutely love, the design and manufacturing of upcycled F1®  car part gifts. I am using this opportunity to give something back to the organisations which have helped not only myself, but every single person with MS to maintain, manage and cope
with the symptoms this illness presents.

POSTAGE
Due to the Royal Mail losing so many parcels and the increase in scam buyers I have been forced into sending all parcels by recorded delivery and as such I can no longer offer a free postage method. I'm trying to find an alternative courier service but in the meantime I will make sure to only charge what is quoted and where I can, I'll try and be cheaper than what the Royal Mail quotes.

UK Postage-  Postage within the UK will be sent via 2nd class signed for. If however, you require a speedier  method of postage then please select 1st class recorded upon completing your order.

International Shipping- I will ship worldwide, if you can't see a price for the country you reside in then
please message me before bidding and I will get a shipping quote sent over ASAP.
