Kenwood KR-9400 speaker terminal upgrade kit

These kits allow you to convert your Kenwood to use modern terminals. The original terminals were designed for bare wire connections. These kits will allow the use of bare wire, banana plugs, spade connectors, pin connectors, etc. Each kit includes an adapter panel, terminals, and detailed instructions. The conversion requires no modification of the chassis and is reversible. The adapter plates key into the existing panel opening, and are very secure when installed, requiring no additional hardware.

You will need basic soldering skills to install this conversion kit. If you are not confident working with electronics please consider having an electronics technician perform the conversion.

There are two kit styles available:

• KWTK6B five-way binding posts knurled metal. This kit comes with five-way binding posts with knurled caps. Wires are soldered to the solder lugs and then fastened to the binding posts. The adapter plates have guides to keep the solder lugs from rotating and contacting each other.

• KWTK6C five-way binding posts clear. This kit comes with five-way binding posts with clear caps. Wires are soldered to the solder lugs and then fastened to the binding posts. The adapter plates have guides to keep the solder lugs from rotating and contacting each other.
