The person I purchased it from described it as “ Kodak 10 inch Plate Camera Lens in Timber Board(1890series) . It has a 15 blade iris if I didn’t count wrong - very nice adjustment. The serial number is 1693. F4.5.

Glass is uncoated. No obvious problems - will work much as it did when new.

I haven’t found references to that date. I does look like they were originally for enlarging, but do seem to find contemporary use in 8x10 . Let me know if you know better it’s date and use

There is a dent to the front rim - which still unscrews very nicely - it’s solidly built . Lens board is 125x 140mm
