Module requires power via 100cm (39") USB 5v Cable attached.

If you think plugging this in will make you receive more channels/signals it will NOT!

This is for automatically turning off and on scan banks in defined coordinates/area when setup to do so and log close call hits with location data. This needs to be setup manually here in the UK/EU!

Great if you travel and want to make use of location based scanning* or to log close call hits with location data.

*please note location based scanning needs setting up manually here in the UK/EU. 

Canada and USA is much easier as there is databases available online.

If you don't travel with your scanner GPS modules offer No benefit.
