Richard Garrod (1924-2022) was a California photographer who, influenced by “straight photography”, studied and was a friend of Ansel Adams, Brett Weston and Minor White. Garrod taught at the prestigious Ansel Adams Workshops in Yosemite valley for his good friend Ansel Adams. Garrod taught workshops for a total of 30 years at several locations, including Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, US Santa Cruz, Friends of Photography, and many other programs. Garrod was the last living artist at the Smithsonian Institution. Own a piece of West Coast Photographic history that will go well with your Ansel Adams or Brett Weston print.
