The older FLEXY2 had wiring connected directly into terminals mounted on the circuit board. The newer CX FLEXY uses improved removable plug-in terminal connectors. Before disconnecting the original control panel, every individual wire must be clearly labelled according to its function. We also strongly recommend taking several clear photographs showing: • Every wire and its original terminal position • Motor opening, closing and common wires • Power supply connections • Photocell and safety connections • Start, pedestrian and stop controls • Limit switch wiring, where fitted • Link wires across any unused safety inputs • Capacitor and flashing-light connections The labelled wiring can then be matched by function to the appropriate terminals on the new control unit using the supplied wiring information.
