Old Noritake accessory case with clown figure

Description

"Old Noritake accessory case with clown figure"
Since this is a woman, her real name is Pierette, not Pierrot.
According to the catalog "All Donoritake Art Deco," "Like Pierrot, Pierrette's main characteristics are a thick collar and large buttons on the chest, but unlike Pierrot, he wears a fluttery jacket, tight pants, and high-heeled shoes."

While European kilns faithfully reproduced Piero figures from Italian comedies, Noritake produced character figurines to meet the tastes and demand of America, its export market.

This is an antique item made between 1921 and 1933 for export to the United States and is in very good condition.
There is a pigment splatter from manufacturing on the heel of the right shoe (see the second-to-last image). Other than that, there are some minor scratches, but there are no cracks, chips, or other damage, making this a wonderful item.

◆Size: Height 9.0cm, diameter 13.0cm

◆Others: Please understand that the condition of the product is that it is an antique item.
