How to Calculate The Torque

Calculate the torque according to this formula TS=TD(L/L+A)

  • TD: Torque required at the end of the adapter
  • L: Length of torque wrench : drive center to the center of the hand
  • A: Length of adapter: center to center

Tips:

  • The length of the adapter from the center of the square drive to the center of the adapter opening is approximately 2 inches, but some adapter wrenches vary.
