According to the weathering of the material and the typology of the tool, this piece seems to date back to the second half of the Mousterian period, up to Upper Paleolithic and the Chatelperronian culture. 

Artifact: beautiful Mousterian Point / scraper, knapped on flake by Neanderthal. 

Used as side scraper and end scraper. Very nice knapping. 

Marks of use and retouches on the active parts. Beautiful artifact! 

Material: flint + patina + cortex
