United States Department of Defense Joint Chiefs of Staff Lapel Pin in excellent condition.  Measures about 3/4". Many versions of this pin badge that I've seen have cut-outs in the pin, this pin does not and is solid from top to bottom. I don't know it's origin, just an oddball which I came across recently.
