This spectacular Herkimer Diamond Quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA Resort in Middleville, New York! 

It is comprised of 2 crystals, one which measures 2.83 inches in length and the other 2.06 inches. The larger of the two crystals is somewhat cloudy with some internal fractures which produce huge beautiful rainbows as well as gorgeous inclusions of solid ink black hydrocarbon and golden iron oxide, while the smaller crystal has jaw-dropping gem clarity with a light smoky phantoms, rainbows, and minor inclusions of hydrocarbon and iron oxide. There are a few key marks, including on one of the terminations of the larger crystal, but the surfaces of this specimen are otherwise in excellent condition! 

As with most Herkimer Diamond clusters of this size, some reconstruction was required to prepare it.
