Product Description

The Invidia HS15SWMDOCB is a high-flow catted J-pipe (downpipe) for the 2015–2021 Subaru WRX equipped with the 2.0L FA20DIT turbocharged boxer engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The factory downpipe is the most restrictive component in the WRX exhaust system, and this Invidia replacement uses a larger 76mm (2.99") SUS304 stainless steel pipe with smooth bends that allow the turbocharger to exhale exhaust gases with far fewer restrictions and turbulence -- delivering a substantial bump in both horsepower and torque with a great reduction in turbo lag. The divorced wastegate design features a separator plate between the turbine and wastegate exhaust streams to further reduce turbulence and improve flow.

A 300 CPSI high-flow catalytic converter is integrated in the lower-mounted position to control emissions for street driving while maintaining minimal impact on exhaust flow. The turbo flange is laser-cut from cast steel to withstand the extreme temperatures at the turbocharger outlet, ensuring long-lasting, leak-free reliability. Twin O2 sensor bungs accommodate the factory oxygen sensor and an additional bung for an aftermarket wideband sensor. The one-piece design replaces the factory downpipe and catalytic converter and bolts directly to any Invidia cat-back exhaust system or the stock cat-back with no modification. An ECU tune is required for safe operation and to optimize the power gains from this downpipe.
