Product description
Can-Bus car radio and steering wheel button adapter with setting of the on-board computer and additional speakers for transmitting the PDC (parking aid) warning tones.
with Quadlock socket on the car side and ISO plugs on the radio side.
General information before purchasing:
- The adapter fits the steering wheel connections of 1 or 2 DIN retrofit radios from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, sony , Xzent and Zenec.
For all other radio brands an additional charge of €20 is necessary as we have to make adjustments. In this case, please write us the radio brand and type in the comments field when checking out or send us a direct eBay message. - The adapter only fits radios with ISO sockets for power and speaker connections.
If you have other connections, please write to us before purchasing.
Important instructions:
- Not for vehicles that have a JBL sound system installed ex works!
- Not for vehicles that have a radio manufactured by Bosch, Magneti Marelli or Harman Becker installed ex works.
- Only for vehicles that have one of the following radios installed ex works:
RD4 or RT4 manufactured by Blaupunkt, Continental, Siemens or VDO
or
an RD45 with volume control made by Continental
or
an MQ-RD6 with a monochrome display and a central rotary control manufactured by Clarion (but then without setting the vehicle functions or of the on-board computer). - After installation, the vehicle settings of the on-board computer are possible using the steering wheel buttons.
- The tones of the parking aid continue to be played via the included loudspeaker.
- Vehicle warning tones (e.g. seat belt warning) are not played.
- In vehicles with ECO mode, the continuous + line in the vehicle switches off after approx. 15 minutes off. This causes an aftermarket radio to lose its saved settings. In this case you have to connect the continuous + cable directly to the battery.
