Synopsis from the DC Database: "Gog continues his unstoppable march, nearing the Khandaqi border. Rather than risk Black Adam have reason to attack the godling, the eldest and youngest JSA members team up to halt the procession by subduing the rebellious members and convincing Gog of his mistakes. Citizen Steel keeps following Gog in hopes of receiving a gift from the semi-deity. Gog, meanwhile, childishly persists demanding adoration and prayer. Sandman then arrives with more distressing news: Gog is parasitizing Earth, rooting himself upon the planet itself in such a manner that if he ever leaves, Earth will crumble to nothing; the process would be complete in one more day. The JSA elders realize that leaves the single option of killing Gog and thrusting his head into the Source Wall.
Gog repeats himself, saying that if he is adored and revered, he shall never leave. Nearly half the JSA defends him, but when Jay Garrick attempts to deal with him, the god "punishes" him, by transforming him into living lightning, to "power an entire continent". This single action infuriates the whole JSA, even his followers, who proceed to attack him or stand by the sidelines; to defend himself, he creates implacable winds that blow all of them away, except for Citizen Steel. Gog promises gifts to him, but he is rejected and attacked; the hit reveals how Gog is rooting himself, which prompts all the JSA to jointly attack him. The godling lashes out indiscriminately, blinding Dr. Mid-Nite, maddening Starman beyond hope, mangling Damage's face, cursing Citizen Steel with endless pain, returning Sandman his nightmares, and bringing massive despair to Green Lantern and Mr. Terrific by taunting them with the rotting, partly animated corpses of their loved ones. When Magog sees how Gog is treating his followers, even those who had remained loyal to him, he confronts the Third World being; the shock of being attacked by his own prophet shocks Gog, who nonetheless proceeds to start removing his gift from Magog."
Scans are of the actual comic. I've been collecting since 1973, and buying & selling on eBay since 1998.
