Majapahit period, pre-1400 CE, East Java. From the estate of an Italian gentleman traveller, collector and antiquaire who acquired the piece directly in the field at some time during the 20th century.

This bracelet is in excellent condition, structurally sound, and wearable, with an original patina of great age. Being of high-purity gold, it is soft, very flexible and readily adjustable to suit the size and preferences of its future owner/wearer.
