If you find your lights come on just passing tunnels or shade, this cap increase the amount of sunlight to the sensor so that they do not turn on/off so often throughout the day but still function perfectly in the evening.
Comes with the tools to swap, takes less than 2min to pop the old one out and replace with new clear one.
