Hello dear customers up for sale this is a super rare original and impressive Art Deco Austrian figurine of Japanese Geisha with cup of tea. Made in fine alabaster stone produced by the world famous company Goldscheider Vienna in the 1920's. This masterpiece of decorativism and true elegance is composed/ desgned by the famous artist Joseph Lorenzl, a typical example of Chinoiserie trending in Europe.  Joseph Lorenzl as famous Art Deco artist works for several important companies in this time. The figurine Iis finished and black matte paint on its hair and all other finished in glossy polishing on the alabaster stone. The figurine is in excellent condition, no chips no cracks. figurine is fully signed with the Goldsheider mark on metal plate inlay in the base , the model numbers and the Lorenzl J. artist signature engraved on the plinth at the back. It is 10’’ heigh x 2.75 x 2.8’’ on base.Found at estate sale in Vienna.
