Coach Bear Bryant of Alabama is carried off the field Wednesday night after his team defeated Penn State 13-6 in the 42nd Annual Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Paul William "Bear" Bryant was an American college football player and coach. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest college football coaches of all time, and best known as the head coach of the University of Alabama football team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, from 1958 to 1982.
