Pumpkin Sheep

 This rug hooking kit features a primitive sheep in a night scene surrounded by six pumpkins of varying sizes and colors. The night sky is a combination of hand-dyed and off the bolt wool. The sheep and ground are off the bolt wool and the pumpkins are mostly hand-dyed wool. I hand draw the pattern on linen and it measures approximately 17" x 10" when hooked. I sew the edges to prevent them from fraying and I carefully draw the lines on the grain. When hooked, it makes an ideal wall hanging, table top or can be made into a pillow.
