Installation Steps:

Step 1 Turn off the power of the vehicle: find the power off position of the vehicle and cut off the power at the power off position;

Step 2 Find the location of the ignition coil and use an unloading tool (wrench or movable rod) to disassemble the ignition coil;

Step 3 Leave the seat ring with a support tool (movable rod) and use a nut to untie the spark plug bracket;

Step 4 Unscrew the spark plug out of the nut and check whether there is oil leakage or traces of breakage;

Step 5  Install the new ignition coil and the new seat ring on the vehicle, and first install the ignition coil on the bracket;

Step 6 Install the spark plug and insert the ignition coil into the spark plug;

Step 7 Install the new seat and use another tool to install and fix the new seat to the bracket;

Step 8 Draw the new heat-resistant disc tile into the seat and make the spark plug stick to the seat ring;

Step 9 Turn on the power of the vehicle again;

Step 10 Turn the starting pull rope to try to make sure the spark plug is working properly.

Tips from Technicians:

When one ignition coil fails (especially on a vehicle with higher mileage), you should replace all of the ignition coils with a new set. That’s because one worn out coil means the other coils have been subjected to the same extreme heat stress and wear. In the long run, the most cost-effective repair is to replace the full set of coils.
