AVALON BALLROOM Rock Poster - 1966 - Big Brother & The Holding Co. (Janis Joplin), Oxford Circle, Lee Michaels.
This poster measures 14-3/16 x 18.
Due to its distinct size of this poster, and the inclusion of the "Bindweed Press, San Francisco" in the lower right (excluding an address)...it is determined that this is a FIRST printing and is VERY RARE.
The back appears that it may have been carefully mounted at one time with just small remnants of tape residue. At the very bottom on the back of the poster it is rubber stamped "Lorin Gillette Distributor (with a San Francisco address). This rubber stamp is light and HAS NOT bled to the front of the poster!
The small collection of Rock Posters I am offering here are coming from a collector who purchased these in 1974-75 and put them in a binder for safe keeping. These were all purchased BEFORE any reproductions were done. These posters are VINTAGE first printings!
In mint condition.
These posters will be sent rolled in tube - OR - sent FLAT with layers of cardboard to prevent any bends (if you prefer and notify me of your preference).
