Yellowish Colored Platy Calcite & Hemimorphite - Location: Santa Eulalia Chihuahua Mexico. Small Cabinet (see photo for more details). Here we have something that is relatively new and very aesthetic; we have a matrix specimen with light yellowish colored platy calcite crystals along with gemmy colorless bladed hemimorphite crystals. These calcite/hemimorphite specimens have a limited availability. The calcite crystals are well formed and sharp tabular platy crystals and are somewhat color zoned and have a light yellow color (in areas) to almost colorless in other areas. The hemimorphite crystals are also well formed and sharp and form as gemmy colorless bladed crystals and have a bright glassy luster.

All of our photos are taken with a 75Watt GE True White incandescent bulb. (unless otherwise stated). Colors may vary if you look at our items in different wavelengths of light (under different bulbs). Here is a pure color chart you can calibrate your monitor to:

Small Cabinet - small cabinet specimens must fit completely inside an "imaginary" 3 inch cube. Look for -SCB in our titles.
Cabinet - cabinet specimens are those larger than 3 inches. (too large to fit inside a 3 inch cube) Look for -CAB in our titles.
