I am selling my personal New Orleans medicine bottle collection.  I fell in love with New Orleans as a graduate student at Tulane University in the early 1960s and began a collection of items pertaining to the city.  I have reached the advanced age where I realize that it is time to pass on personal possessions,  My bottle collection was the result of 60 years of off-and-on collecting and consists of 70+ bottles of various size and condition.  Some are fairly common; others are rare.  The following inventory is largely correct but may contain an occasional error of omission or measurement.  I have tried to be accurate but there may be a few factual errors. A general inventory is enclosed.  Here are some collection highlights.

*70+ pharmacists/druggists represented
*Some of the bottles are rare and highly collectible
*There are a few duplications of pharmacists/druggists and are evident (about 10)
*size ranges from 1 7/8" to 8 7/8"(Most in the 3" -  5" range)
*most are clear but there are several blue and red bottles
*many are clear but a number have an opaque patina or are soiled
*10 or fewer have lip chips (only one severe) are are noted with a * before the listing
*several were overlooked or not tallied when wrapping/packing or are perhaps missing and are identified by ? after the name
*The photographs are illustrative of the collection and not inclusive

The collection is being sold as a whole (no "cherry picking") and AS IS.
