Set 4 Vintage Asian Wall Hanging Panels w Red Cherry Blossom Pattern Japan Art

This set of 4 vintage Asian wall hanging panels remain in very good used condition. The set combine to make a Red Cherry Blossom Tree pattern. The Cherry blossom tree is a significant symbol in Japanese culture and Japan's unofficial national flower. It symbolizes both life and death, beauty and violence. As the coming of spring promises new life, so the blooming of cherry blossoms brings a sense of vitality and vibrancy. At the same time, their short lifespan is a reminder that life is fleeting. The panels have bright colours and structurally remain in great shape. Each panel is made from timber board and they have a metal hook on the back for hanging. The panels are covered by a glossy varnish finish. There is the occasional light mark/scrape on the panels from use, as photographed. Each panel measures 60cm high by 30cm wide and they are 1cm thick. The four panels have a combined weight of close to 6kg.
