SP mode playback confirmed with commercially available Hi-8 tape. Noise may occur depending on the preservation condition of the tape. There is no tape entanglement when rewinding or fast-forwarding.
The VHS side mechanism has been disassembled and serviced. Video head, tape running system, and pinch roller have been cleaned. Driving parts have been greased. Rotary encoder disassembled and cleaned. Motor joints of loading motors have been repaired. Playback confirmed with commercially available VHS tape. No problems with fast-forwarding or rewinding. Currently, there is no tape snagging when ejecting the tape, but if there is, please push up the tape cover when ejecting the tape. If there is, push up the tape cover when ejecting the tape. 3x mode can also be played back beautifully.

Year of manufacture: It has been disassembled and cleaned. There are some scratches and stains that do not cause any problem in use. One of the bottom feet was removed, so a rubber foot has been used in its place. The dual screen display was also OK.

This is ideal for playing back your Hi-8 and VHS tapes and dubbing them to DVD, Blu-ray, HDD, etc.
If you have a SONY ME type tape, the head will get dirty immediately even if it is played back. MP type tapes have no problem.
