Before Ticketmaster started printing tickets on thermal paper, old-school concert tickets were colorful and fun. They were cool to show off to your friends and made a great memory of the show. The most recent Ticketmaster show I went to in October 2024 didn’t even come with a physical ticket! Just a barcode on my phone. What a rip off. I miss the days of those colorful and intricately printed concert tickets. Up for auction are restorations of ORIGINAL CHEAP TRICK ticket stubs from August 2 1979, at the Seattle Hec Edmundson Pavilion (on the University of Washington Campus). They have been lovingly restored to their original unused splendor and are printed both front and back on 65lb cardstock. Please note:• This auction is for two REPRODUCTIONS, not the original ticket stubs• The watermark is not printed on the actual tickets• Tickets are actual size at approx. 3.5” x 1.5” in dimension• Tickets are perforated in the appropriate spot to tear the stub• Tickets have sequential serial numbers These tickets will look great framed or in a memory book and make a fun keepsake.
