George is a traditional 10” mohair jointed teddy bear kit suitable for a beginner. I’ve created this kit with everything you need apart from scissors and a few items you will find at home. I’ve used a soft sparse 11mm pile German mohair from Schulte which has subtle black hairs for that vintage look, German beige wool felt pads and genuine Victorian boot buttons for eyes. Polyester stuffing and plastic pellets for weight and squidgyness are included. The paper pattern is reusable and has thorough instructions with our email address and phone number for extra help . I have drawn out the pattern and pads ready to cut out…the footpads are backed with white felt before I stitched them for durability and to stop any stuffing or pellet bumps showing. This kit is nicely boxed so ideal for a gift.
