How to prepare Doum juice
1-Put the crushed dum and sugar in a pot over low heat and stir constantly until the sugar dissolves.
2-Continue stirring until the sugar melts without changing its color
3- When the sugar dissolves, add water and leave the mixture on the fire until it boils
4-After boiling, remove it from the heat directly to cool
5-Then put it in the refrigerator or freezer and serve cold

amount of doum is soaked in water for at least six continuous hours or
more as desired, but it must be stirred from time to time.
When the weather is hot, it is better to put it in the refrigerator.
Then
it is placed on the fire until it is heated. You should also avoid

taste of dum is bitter, and when it boils, this bitter taste increases

store doum juice for a long time because it is considered a beverage
that spoils quickly...
How to make dum with milk
1/4 kilo of crushed doum.
1/2 liter of water.
1 cup sugar.
1/2 liter of milk.
Preparation steps:
Add
two or three tablespoons of sugar, then put it in a pot on the fire,
and leave it for two or three minutes, depending on the intensity of the
fire.
Until it caramelizes, it becomes like caramel, turning brown.
Put the amount of doum on it, then remove it from the heat and stir well, until it takes on a caramel color.
It brings out the moisture inside it.
Pour 1/2 liter of water over the mixture, then return it to the heat for one minute.
Stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
Then soak the dum in water for at least 4 hours, until it becomes soft.
Then
put it in the blender with the sugar and milk until they are completely
mixed, then filter it with a strainer, and serve it cold.
