This came to me in a lot with other handmade/unique jewelry. All of which was from the 70's and 80's. (Check out my other listings so see more) To not effect the antiquing to the back of the pin/tie tack, I cleaned this up by hand w/ a silver cleaning cloth. This shined up beautifully! 

    That being said, I was surprised to not find a '925/sterling' stamp anywhere on this piece as was true of all the others. So, while I am sure this is silver (I do not have a way of testing) I put the "?" next to the word silver in the description just to be on the safe side.
