Please look for the many other vintage photographs (and negatives) of Newport Bay I'm listing this week by this talented photographer. Each offers a nostalgic look back at how things looked along the docks of Newport Beach some 60 years ago.

Original 8x10 photograph. Taken circa 1962 to 1964. I can't tell you exactly where in Newport this particular shot was taken, but some images were taken near the old Cannery in the Lido District. If you grew up in the area - you may recognize something in the background. I looked up "West Coast Packing Corp" (seen in the background) and there was a location in Newport Beach at least as far back as 1945.
