The item in this listing is a simple Traffic Control circuit designed to operate a highway intersection traffic light(s). The sequence of the lights are shown in the illustration. The speed is adjustable by the trimmer potentiometer on the board. Adjust it using a small screwdriver. A clock indicator lamp is included on the board so you can see the cycle and adjust it according to your desire.

The controller must have at least 5 volts DC but no more than 15 volts DC to operate. Do not attempt to connect the controller to AC power. Also do not connect the controller to 120v house current. Either of these will destroy the controller.

You may use a separate power source to control your lights, if you want a higher or perhaps a lower voltage than what's being used to operate the controller. See the illustration, showing a separate power supply for the lamps.

The signal controller provides a switched negative output with a common positive. If you are using LEDs, this is also referred to as a Common Anode connection. If you do not have a Common Anode signal, this controller might not provide you with the intended appearances.

The current $11.99 price is for a product that includes a minor flaw in the output where the Red Lights are reversed on the output terminal.
