This servicing includes the following:
- assessing your driver unit(s)
- removing old dome and voice coil components
- removing old ferrofluid and residues
- cleanup and prep interfaces
- rebuild and install new titanium alloy domes plus voice coil; see comparison pics
- replacement domes are about 5 ohms DCR
- test and verification of restoration
- smart individual boxing of restored driver unit(s) for its safe return to you
- tracked shipment of completed driver unit(s) back to your location
You are responsible for the following:
These drivers are fairly hefty so......
- safely package old driver unit(s) within adequate boxing
- adequately protect entire faceplate frontal surface from scratching and denting
- adequately protect both terminal connections in rear
- adequately pad the rear enclosure
- overdoing packaging is preferable
- we provide the shipTo address for you to ship the driver(s)
- ship said box to us; be sure to use tracking and insurance
Typical turn around is 10-14 days; please be patient with the process
This is not for emergency purposes so no one day turnaround, no overnight shipping options, etc.
Preference is to do these in pairs for obvious reasons
We'll be sure to let you know if there are any issues including:
- off chance that your driver(s) cannot be repaired
- delays at or end due to parts or shipping delays
- anything else
If your driver(s) cannot be restored here, we'll let you know ASAP and will ship your driver(s) back to you and refund you in full minus your ship fee. If you don't wish to have the driver(s) sent back to you, then you'll receive a 100% refund of purchase price plus the shipping
If final destination is out of USA, you will of course be responsible for any fees/taxes/countryCharges at that end.
