This brand-new OEM horn will exactly replace that worn out or broken original and will give you years of trouble-free honking! This horn has the correct wire connectors that use a rubber boot to help insulate the wires from water and dirt and, in fact, comes with two brand new boots (though a slightly different style than the original ones but the connectors will work with the original boots also).

Tech Notes:
The VW horn circuit is pretty simple but changed repeatedly over the years. While many horns don't work because the horn itself is actually broken, it is not uncommon for the issue to be in wiring inside the steering column or at the horn button or pad on the steering wheel itself.
