Antique Walking Stick / Cane Hallmarked 1920 Silver Collar Bovine Horn Handle

This antique walking stick has a sectioned bovine horn crook handle. It is furnished with an ornately engraved silver collar hallmarked for:
'London 1920' 
There is a maker's mark:
'BM & Co.'

The collar is engraved with a presentation to the original owner:
'Presented to
R. Dickinson Esq.
By the staff of
Askew Road Boys' School
Gateshead
On his retirement
Nov. 1922'​
