This is a brand new Gotek USB Floppy Disk Emulator with a factory OLED and rotary encoder in a black color configured and tested to work in the recently released CMD FD-4000 re-release! This replaces the floppy drive that would normally be installed in the CMD. It uses the latest stable FlashFloppy configuration for the CMD GFD-4000. It is user USB upgradable to newer versions of FlashFloppy when they become available so there is no need for a USB to serial adapter to update! It supports the 1581, FD-2000 and the FD-4000 formats. No real configuration required. The USB stick comes pre-configured with the four different images you can use on this Gotek. You just copy the blank disk image of your choice to the root and then add your Commodore files to it. You are buying a Gotek that is already modified with the firmware to work on your CMD FD-4000 Disk images can be switched by the front panel by using up/down buttons or rotary encoder with the 3 line digital display telling you which image you are using. This Gotek will be flashed and then tested on an actual Commodore 64 with CMD FD-4000 to verify it's operation (see pictures of actual machines used for testing and developing).
