We use a genuine Trex base trim ring for these caps, matching the post sleeve as well as a factory OEM item.  
100% real acrylic lens, instead of the usual polycarbonate lenses which yellow in their 1st year.
Pure acrylic lasts 7 years in sunlight, with no change. After 7 years, discoloration is minimal, and usually not seen by eye.
