STEP 1: Remove Applicator Tube from Package
Carefully open the packaging and remove the applicator tube. Ensure that the applicator is intact and the seal is unbroken before use.

STEP 2: Position Your Cat Comfortably
Place your cat in a standing or comfortable position to allow easy access to the area at the back of their neck, between the shoulder blades. You may need an assistant to help hold the cat still for ease of application.

STEP 3: Prepare the Applicator
Hold the applicator tube upright (with the tip pointing away from your face). With one hand, gently grasp the applicator’s large disk with your thumb and index finger. With the other hand, grip the stem above the small disk. Press down firmly on the small disk until you hear a click or feel the pressure, indicating that the seal has been pierced.

STEP 4: Apply the Product
Part the cat's fur at the base of the neck, just behind the ears, to expose the skin. Position the tip of the applicator directly on the skin (not on the fur) and apply the entire contents of the tube in one spot. Make sure the tube is completely empty. Avoid applying the product directly onto the fur. Do not apply near the cat's eyes, mouth, or open wounds.

STEP 5: Dispose of the Applicator Tube
Once the applicator is empty, discard the tube according to the instructions in the Storage and Disposal section of the package. Be sure to safely dispose of it away from children and pets.

STEP 6: Repeat Monthly for Continuous Protection
To maintain effective flea and tick protection, repeat the application every month. For optimal results, follow the dosage instructions and any additional advice from your veterinarian.

STEP 7: Year-Round Treatment for Optimal Results
For the best results in controlling adult fleas, flea eggs, larvae, ticks, and chewing lice, it’s recommended to use Catego year-round. Continue with monthly applications as part of a comprehensive flea and tick prevention program, ensuring your pet stays protected from pests all year.

Important Notes:

• Fleas may rise to the top of your cat's coat as they die. It’s normal to see more fleas initially after treatment.
• If you continue to see fleas after treatment, it may be due to your cat encountering new fleas in the environment. This can include other pets, surfaces, and outdoor areas.
• Make sure to treat your home and yard as well to eliminate the flea lifecycle. Regular cleaning of carpets, bedding, and furniture is essential to ensure full flea control.
