DESCRIPTION:   Boy Scouts BE PREPARED Troop Stetson Patrol Leader Hat Badge, stamped metal with a cotter pin attachment, measures approximately 1 3/4“ by 2 3/8“ or  44 mm by 60 mm (width and height), the cotter pin is included

-it is my understanding that this design was used in the UK, Canada & other Commonwealth nations, if anyone knows for sure please do message me 

-some of these Patrol Leader hat badges were produced with the marks of the manufacturer on them, this listing is for a badge that is unmarked

-this design was introduced in 1939 and used until 1955, that being said in a period during WWII a Bakelite design was in use in some nations including Canada

-the cotter pin is the typical horizontal design found on most Boy Scout hat badges and plumes
