About Batteries
When a device is powered by batteries, it behaves as follows:

Wakes up every minute to take a reading. If there is a difference of 0.2 degrees Celsius or 3% humidity, the display will update. The default threshold for reporting a change is 0.5 degrees Celsius or 5%. If the change is less than that, no report is sent.

If no report is issued based on the thresholds within two hours, the device will unconditionally report its status (regardless of the thresholds) to "Shelly Cloud" and other connected channels.

The self-heating leads to a 5-minute cooling phase.
With USB power supply
When powered via USB, the device wakes up every 5 minutes, takes a measurement, updates the display, provides an unconditional report for all connected channels and sleeps for 5 minutes.
User-driven report
When the user presses the reset button (behind the cover), the device wakes up, takes a measurement, updates the display, creates a report for all connected channels and sleeps for 5 minutes.
