Here is a unique, custom ring with a round blue topaz measuring 6 mm in diameter and with an estimated weight of 1.05 carats.  This gem is a beautiful darker "American" or "Swiss" blue color, kind of bordering on a lighter shade of "London" blue.  This gemstone is loupe clean and well cut.  Like virtually all blue topaz, this gem has been irradiated to bring out its color, but this is a 100% genuine and natural gemstone.  Because the radiation level is low and gems are subsequently "cooled", they are perfectly safe to wear.  Blue topaz is a birthstone for December, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month!

The mounting is by the premium manufacturer based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Stuller Settings.  Stuller is known for their quality and is sold in better independent retail jewelry store throughout the USA and beyond.  The ring is style number 5754, and it has been customized by bezel setting the gem flush into the mounting.  The ring is solid 14 karat yellow gold.  It is currently finger size 6.25 but is easily sizable by any competent jeweler.  The ring weighs a very substantial 5.9 grams, and the bold design is 12.2 mm wide at the top.  This ring is solid gold and unworn; don't be duped into buying a cheap gold-plated ring or someone else's worn-out castoff!

The spiral design of the ring is reminiscent of a galaxy or a hurricane.  It struck me that this design would be very fitting for anyone who has endured and survived a hurricane; kind of a reminder that life goes on!
