The ACEPOM10 and ACEPOM20 are equipped with a powerful magnet backing bracket that allows the operator to mount this alignment system to virtually any pulley face.
Mount the unit to the pulley face to be centred.
The reflector unit should be mounted to the pulley to be moved or adjusted.
The transmitter unit should be mounted to the pulley that is stationary.
The user must determine which pulley is moveable and which is stationary. The moveable pulley is generally the smaller one and is usually mounted on the motor shaft. In some cases, both pulleys and the shaft may need to be adjusted to achieve the desired alignment.
For non-ferrous pulleys or chain gears, small rod clamps (6 clamps) can be used.
