Nero Orichalcum As minted in Rome in 64 AD & in Very Fine+ condition with a dark brown/black patina, a little roughness, & probably lacquered in the 19th Century when this was common practice. This coin has the very high relief & smaller module size since made out of the more valuable Orichalcum instead of Copper. The Reverse is Genio Augusti S.C. (Genius Standing Left). The size & weight of this coin is 22.5 mm & 6.82 Grams on one scale & 7.00 Grams or .245 Oz. on another scale. A very attractive interesting coin from the Emperor Nero & the Roman Empire.
