Blue Stinger is an action-adventure game released for the Sega Dreamcast in 1999. Developed by Climax Graphics and directed by Shinya Nishigaki, the game is set on an isolated island called Dinosaur Island, which is mysteriously struck by a meteor. The player takes control of Eliot Ballade, a member of a rescue team, who becomes trapped on the island after the meteor crash. Strange, mutated creatures overrun the island, and Eliot must survive while uncovering the secrets behind the catastrophe.

The game combines elements of survival horror, action, and adventure, with a mix of puzzles, exploration, and combat. Eliot is joined by a character named Dogs Bower, a burly, tough man who helps him in various ways. Both characters have distinct abilities, and you can switch between them during the game. The game features a third-person perspective and uses a dynamic camera system, which was somewhat unique for its time.

The plot revolves around the mystery of the island, an ancient alien force, and an evil biotech corporation, blending science fiction and horror elements. Players navigate through different environments, fight off grotesque enemies, collect items, and solve puzzles to progress.

Blue Stinger received mixed reviews due to its quirky controls, camera issues, and somewhat unpolished mechanics, but it also gained a cult following because of its unusual atmosphere, setting, and odd sense of humor.
