I always think of Geoffrey Beene as MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle. A sort of Sutton Place South woman who does 60s meets 2024 really well. And while Geoffrey Beene moved effortlessly into the 80s, (despite being blacklisted by Vogue editors (another story entirely), the lines and the look are dstinctly his and nevr look dated. Purple and navy wool tweed with big pockets and a deeppleated "apron" in the front of the skirt, the purple suede belt tucks in and out of integrated belt loops. Polished gold buckle and lined through the bodice with purple silk crepe, it is is shown on a 6 dress form and definitely for a more petite stature. Sleeves close with purple zips at the wriast for a beautiful fit. Bust 36", hips up to 42", shoulder to shoulder 15.5", outer sleeve 22.5" and length 36". Excellent condition. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I am always happy to help.
