These pants are designed for users who want to wear warm padded pants with a relaxed silhouette. Using 14.75oz original right-hand twill denim, similar to the gear-style items in the denim line, this model is a crossover between work pants and padded pants. It features a high-performance special insulation material, the THERMAL REFLEX SYSTEM 85g, for riding in cold conditions. The stitching on the padded areas, which incorporate urethane sheets, uses the popular diamond stitch pattern. With a comfortably relaxed silhouette, these padded pants offer a fresh approach to warmth. They provide a unique and highly practical option that is suitable not only for riding but also for casual wear as "warm denim."

Westride's unique high-performance thermal insulation material features Dupont's insulation "COMFORMAX CLASSIC" with high-performance aluminum welding. This material reflects the wearer’s body heat and stores warm air inside. The first Dupont insulation used by Westride was an aluminum-based product called "COMFORMAX RADIANT." It was an outstanding material with very high insulation properties, but Dupont ceased production due to cost issues. The next material used was "COMFORMAX PREMIUM," which incorporated a high-performance film-treated nonwoven fabric. However, Dupont eventually discontinued this material as well. Both were revolutionary materials with exceptional performance, but for a large company, profitability is essential. This background led to the discontinuation of both materials. While searching for a way to keep this high-performance thermal insulation essential to Westride's autumn and winter line, a path was found to create an original material. If we were to create it, we wanted to use an aluminum design for better heat reflection efficiency. Through this process, Westride's uniquely developed new material was announced. With aluminum welding, it also possesses windproof and waterproof qualities, making it a truly groundbreaking high-performance thermal insulation material. No. 13 refers to the atomic symbol for aluminum.
