Late 19th - early 20th century AXE HATCHET Meat Cleaver  For restoration, barbecue or tenderizer. Remnants of a stamp are visible on the axe blade, but cannot be identified.
A lovely quality, steel ice or sugar cleaver. The handle is well made, from a combination of a wood and brass. The piece is is in Very ood condition, with just very slight pitting to the blade.
Comfortable weight for the hand - 500 grams (1 lb) !
Blade thickness - 6 mm.
